At Shouldersrenewec, we want every participant to feel confident when enrolling in our Move Outside Every Day programs. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and program transfers for all outdoor movement packages offered through shouldersrenewec.world, including Daily Trail Starter ($89), Urban Park Circuit ($149), and Weekend Wilderness Pack ($249).
Overview
Because our programs consist of scheduled outdoor sessions with limited group sizes and assigned trained guides, our refund policy differs from standard retail product returns. This policy applies to all program purchases made directly through Shouldersrenewec via our website contact form, phone enrollment, or in-person registration at our Houston office located at 8100 Washington Ave Ste 220B, Houston, TX 77007, United States.
Cancellation Before Program Start
If you cancel your enrollment before your first scheduled session, the following refund terms apply:
- Cancellation seven or more days before the program start date: Full refund minus a $15 administrative processing fee
- Cancellation three to six days before the program start date: 75% refund of the program fee
- Cancellation one to two days before the program start date: 50% refund of the program fee
- Cancellation on the program start date or after the first session has occurred: No refund available under standard cancellation terms

Cancellation requests must include your full name, program package name, enrollment date, and reason for cancellation. Refunds are processed within ten business days to the original payment method.
Program Transfers
If you need to change your program start date or switch to a different Shouldersrenewec package, we offer the following transfer options:
- One free program start date transfer if requested at least five days before your original start date
- Package upgrades (e.g., from Daily Trail Starter to Urban Park Circuit) available within the first two weeks of enrollment by paying the price difference
- Package downgrades are subject to the cancellation refund terms applicable at the time of the downgrade request
- Transfer to a future season's program if your schedule changes, subject to availability and a $10 transfer fee if requested less than five days before start
Missed Sessions
Each Shouldersrenewec program package includes a defined number of guided outdoor sessions. Missed sessions due to participant absence without prior notice are generally not refundable and cannot be made up unless otherwise specified. If you notify us at least twenty-four hours before a scheduled session that you cannot attend, we will make reasonable efforts to offer one make-up session per program enrollment, subject to guide availability and route scheduling. Make-up sessions must be completed within the program duration period.
Weather and Session Cancellations by Shouldersrenewec
If Shouldersrenewec cancels a session due to severe weather, park closure, guide unavailability, or other circumstances within our control, we will offer one of the following remedies at no additional cost:
- Rescheduling the session to an alternative date within the program period
- Adding a make-up session at the end of the program period
- Providing a prorated credit toward a future program if rescheduling is not possible
We monitor Houston weather conditions closely and will notify participants of session cancellations at least three hours before the scheduled start time whenever possible via phone or email.
Medical and Emergency Withdrawals
If you must withdraw from an active Shouldersrenewec program due to documented medical reasons or family emergency, contact us as soon as possible. We review medical and emergency withdrawal requests on a case-by-case basis and may offer partial refunds or program credits for unused sessions. Documentation such as a note from a healthcare provider may be requested. This provision does not apply to minor illnesses or temporary inconveniences that do not prevent participation in gentle outdoor walking activities.
Service Satisfaction Policy
Your satisfaction with our Move Outside Every Day programs is important to us. If you are dissatisfied with your program experience after attending at least two sessions, contact us within seven days of your second session to discuss your concerns. We may offer a partial refund, program credit, or transfer to a different program group or route at our discretion. This service satisfaction policy applies once per participant, covers program service quality only, and cannot be combined with other refund offers.
Non-Refundable Items
The following items and fees are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Administrative processing fees deducted from pre-start cancellations
- Program materials including route map booklets, progress journals, and outdoor gear checklists once distributed
- Special event surcharges for seasonal outdoor gatherings or holiday path events
- Third-party fees associated with payment processing
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution without first contacting Shouldersrenewec to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend your enrollment, deny future program registrations, and provide transaction records to the payment processor demonstrating delivery of services. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback.
Gift Enrollments
Program packages purchased as gifts for another person are subject to the same cancellation and refund terms. The gift recipient must contact Shouldersrenewec directly for any cancellation or transfer requests. Gift enrollments are valid for twelve months from the purchase date and must be activated within that period.
Policy Changes
Shouldersrenewec reserves the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes apply to enrollments made after the policy update date. Enrollments made before a policy change remain subject to the terms in effect at the time of purchase. Updated policies will be posted on this page at shouldersrenewec.world/return.html.
